First off Obama is related to none other than the evil money hungry oil fiend who kills american soldiers for his own benefit, Dick Cheney. That should be reason enough not to vote for him. BUT!!! for all of you who dont understand politics or law, and understand the fundamentals of who actually runs the show, it doesnt matter who is the president. There will never be any change. Read the Quotes of Thomas Jefferson and his warning signs on what we are now seeing in are (WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A REPUBLIC!! BUT SOMEHOW THEY CHANGED IT TO A DEMOCRACY???? NOW ITS A CAPITALISTIC!!!).Big Corporations, and The Federal Reserve. Those are the Problems. They are the ones who control the show. The Fed pimps out the U.S and the Fed is Ran By European (ENGLISH) Bankers. 100% of your Tax dollars goes to paying the interest that the U.S owes the Federal Reserve!!! The IRS is also a PRIVATE CORPORATION! Its there to bust knee caps when the slaves dont pay. You see, people dont understand that the United States was a BOOMING and GLORIOUS PLACE!! in the late 1800's early 1900's. Thats when there wasnt any taxes. And yes the government can still be ran with out Taxing the hell out of the slaves. Go look it up and find out for yourself. But Once the Federal Reserve and The IRS was created, the Economics of the US became Jacked, because now we are dealing with FIAT Money, Money that has no value. research it. Do your research again and you will find out that there are less than 20 corporations that own ALL OF THE MEDIA COMPANYS IN THE US. There is no evidence that she arranged for Obama to be mentored by Davis. Obama's grandfather introduced Obama to Davis, according to "Dreams From My Father."
This year's election won't really be much different than most. About 40% of the electorate identifies strongly as Republicans, about the same as Democrats. It'll be the 20& independents who will decide the issue.
McCain has a built-in advantage in this election. He'll get all of the votes from the mindless 25% who still approve of Bush. These people haven't caught up on the events of the past eight years, or else they're simply unreachable and nothing registers with them. He'll also get 100% of the racist vote. Those two groups by themselves give him an automatic 40%. My feeling is that Obama will win, but it will be razor thin. No blowout as some seem to think.

Here's a guy who has achieved his position through hard work and high ability. He isn't the presumptive nominee because he was born with all the advantages of wealth and powerful political connections. He's where he is because he's done it the American way; he's worked his way up.
Here's a guy who doesn't seem to be motivated by personal gain. After graduating at the top of his class from Harvard Law School, he was offered very lucrative positions with Wall Street law firms. He instead returned to Chicago as a community organizer among the working poor.
Here's a guy who has a vision of repairing the obvious rift in America between left and right. Who does that threaten?

I happen to disagree that he got where he is, at least as a politician
by hard work. He has gotten there by being a low bottom politician
that makes good speeches, if they are written beforehand and he is reading them.
He is not interested in repairing a darn thing, he is interested in one thing
and that is to win at all costs.
He is cocky, and immature, he is under-handed in his dealings, and questionable in his judgements.
As much as you admire him, I detest him. He has proven he is NOT who he tried to say he is. He is not a "new kind of politician" he is a cheap
one.

I think you're reaching to characterize him as you have. Perhaps to justify your hostility towards the man.

I disagree. What matters is how he governs and conducts the nation's affairs.
Over the past eight years, we've had a ringside seat to the disaster that resulted from a "win-at-all-costs" mindset that reverted to a comatose state after each election.
How about, for many of the Obama haters, he's just not the right color. Oh, they'll come up with all sorts of dubious reasons why they dislike the guy but for a significant percentage it gets back to the RW's bread and butter....bigotry.
Seems like you're the one palying the race card here. Somebody finding fault with a presidential nominee who happens to be half black does not equal racism. I live in a mixed family and will not be voting for Obama. Am I racist too?
