Well, I guess you put me in my place since I said I did wear them to bed. Our thermostat is set at 55 at night, it's a wonder I'm not wearing long johns as well. It is costing us about $500.00 a month for oil to heat our home this winter. I guess I am not making much of a fashion statement, but then again I'm not going to be seen by the public so I can lower my standards to ward off frost bite.

Why yes. Yes I do.

Come to think of it, nicolepsy *is* a foot connoisseur. I forgot!
PS, nicolepsy, yesterday on ebay there was a dress or outfit by Ya Ya Baby. They put in the title yaya, just to catch the searches. yaya Ya Ya yaya Ya Ya ... It's just like me to be a day late and a dollar short with my brilliant business strategies. Maybe Ya ya Justice for Girls? Limited Ya Ya? Gymboryaya?

I can't stand clothes either, except for the soft 100% cotton kind. Socks protect my feet from germs, but I spent the majority of my childhood barefoot. I still like barefoot, but only out in nature (where I live), not around other germy peeps.

Yes, yes, I wear them to bed! It's been scientifically proven that people who sleep with socks sleep better. I swear! It's also scientifically proven that people who sleep with socks get laughed at and mocked by their partners, but that's alright because we're sleeping and can't hear them anyway!

I dont wear them in the summer cause my feets cant breathe. Im old I gets overheated. I do wear them in the winter if its a little chilly but never to bed. I have standards. I do have quite a collection of festive hoilday socks tho. Somewhere I even have a pair of toe socks. Tday I wore my Christmoose socks.

CR- I must ask you and I don't mean to pry, but are you from LA? Or West TX? I love the tone of your posts and you crack me up- you remind me a LOT of a couple of my friends from that region.

I think its been almost a year since I had a pair of socks on. For me, they are't necessary. In fact I can't stand them.

The question is a little vague. It depends on what you're doing and where. If you're going to be walking around the house, I'd rather be barefoot. But if I'm wearing shoes, then I definitely think socks are necessary. I can't imagine wearing my shoes for a few hours a day and walking in them without socks, it just wouldn't feel very comfortable.

Yep, you're right. I love it!! This is so funny!!
I wear socks the minute it starts getting cold out. I also wear them with shoes. I have always been warned against foot rot. That sounds disgusting< I know, but that is what I have been taught.
I do prefer to be shoeless and sockless. I always tell people I was born barefoot. My mother taught me at a young age how to run accross rocks barefooted. She did it.
I do wear socks with my flip flops in the winter around the house. I have a pair of socks that have the in between the big toe split. I also have a pair with all the toes. They are very colorful. I believe the other pair with just the one split came from Japan. I was told by the friend who gave them to me, that is what they wear.
I do wear socks to bed every winter. I cannot sleep without them.
I want nothing to do with them or shoes in the summer. Unless it be thongs or some kind of shoe like that. Open toes.
HEy, it's been fun here!! Check ya later. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL

HA ha, I hate socks. I only wear them when I run, with my jogging shoes. Otherwise, no socks.
