Dinner's done-leftover hunk of beef, creamed corn. Salad for me. Mr. L is having angel food cake, Edy's vanilla ice cream, choc syrup, whipped cream-he's happy, I'm freezing and headed for down comforters!!!!
Our dinner didn't cook itself after all - I eventually hauled myself out of bed and made a kind of deconstructed chicken stew - chicken breasts poached in garlic broth, with carrots and broccoli, and served it over steamed potatoes. Was nice and light and tasty too.
Tyring to cut down on the salt intake - I am shocked how much is in everything - another good reason to cook food from scratch.
Well dinner is done. RB & gravy for hubby. Oatmeal for me- feeling a little nauseous.
Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. I bought a huge pack of strawberries yesterday and I need to use them all before they go bad. Hopefully my stomach will feel better for dessert, lol.
Hello all, dinner tonight was beef back ribs, salad and corn. Really wanted some carbs but contained myself! Now I want some ice cream, thanks noma for the craving, lol.
Well, I had plans of chicken and scalloped potatoes that went to the wayside.....when Diva had her cereal and wax beans...
I had a can of Chikarina Soup from Progresso..... yippity do da! And a slice of cake- we purchased this cake on Sat when we were supposed to have my folks over and ended up bringing dinner over there- AND FORGOT THE CAKE.... so we are left with this huge black forest cake.... and most of you know I don't really eat cake.... but I did tonight.... it was alright... I don't usually want anyone messing cake with fruit.....I like them to be kept seperate. Especially cherries.... but it was ok.... I still have 3/4 of this cake in the fridge that is going to just go to waste this week.... I should just send it to work with hubby.

Lacey....I don't know how your hubby can eat that in the cold! I can't do ice cream in the winter chill....makes me cold from the inside out....
