I've been really busy with school and stuff, but tonight I'm finally going to kick some ass in the kitchen.

I've got some Amish Friendship Bread in the oven right now (the chain letter of bread - I'm a bad girl and I didn't save any batter).

Dinner will be pork and veggie stir-fry over white rice. I've got a pork tenderloin cut up and marinating with dark soy sauce, fermented black beans, garlic, ginger, sherry, a small onion, and 2 jalapenos.

I may or may not do the veggies as a separate stir-fry: mushrooms, broccoli, water chestnuts, green onion, jalapeno. Would add almonds and oyster sauce to this one.

Any votes?

Oh no, not the bag of goo!!! I got swindled into it one time, and I remember reading the directions like "Wait, I feed this friggin thing? And orchestrate asexual reproduction??"

Okay, well, I changed my mind. No meatloaf or tacos for us tonight. I'm making hamburger steaks with onion and mushroom gravy, rice and steamed broccoli. I'm also making a chocolate mousse pie.

Lots of sickness in the house so super easy dinner here. I had my husband pick up clam chowder and crusty bread from a local place.

It's hubby's birthday. I made grilled rib eye steaks with a dried porcini mushroom rub, baked macaroni and cheese, and a green salad of baby romaine with a balsamic vinaigrette.

First time trying 5 Guys burgers.

Had a cheeseburger and fries and they weren't that good. I was expecting a lot more for the price.

Everything looked really good and juicy, but the burger was really bland with no seasoning and the fries were dried out like they came from a heat lamp. Probably wont go back.
