Last dinner I have to cook for almost two weeks. We are having a small steak plus a few ribs that are left from last night's dinner. I have some broccoli in the fridge as well as carrots and enough salad stuff for a small salad. That is it. I will probably do some kind of carb as well, but don't need the calories as we will get plenty of them on our vacation.

Have fun on vacation!

Going to the game this afternoon, so will do something simple for dinner -- probably a frittata and tossed salad.

The husband is cooking today. He is making a very garlicky roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. Perfect comfort food!

Mostly vegetable plate, I want to make some room in the fridge.

I have asparagus and corn on the cob to fix, a few leftover boiled red potatoes, and I will make a baby spinach salad with shallots and mushrooms.

I will also pan-fry some linguica sausage slices.

According to my inhouse carnivore last night's ribs were delightful. As always I got the tail end. Leftover cornbread has been toasted and will turn into a small batch of dressing. Boneless pork chops of a nice 1 1/2 inch thickness, dressing, salad.
Still need to deal with the freezer emergency soup - ham, potatoe, vegetables. Days seems to be shorter in summer

went to see the movie 'Chappaquiddick' this afternoon, (those Kennedy boys were a handful)

Looking around for something quick and easy, as we had popcorn, and shared a bottle of soda at the theatre.
I think my wife is cooking, parpadelle noodles with peas, leftover bacon finely diced, and lemon zest.
Might be a NY Times recipe.

we are supporting members @ this independent theatre; County Theater
check out the trailer for Chappaquiddick if you are so inclined.

Freezer scrounging tonight. Hubby’s having the last piece of lasagna, leftover salad, and the last roll. A pot pie for me.
