All the traitors are happy.

They will self deport if employers are not allowed to give them any jobs, that is the law now it just has to be enforced, but the Clinton/Obama/McCain adminstrations would not allow that to happen unless 'hopefully' you are right and state governement will still have some power.

I have never liked McCain; I now know why-------his slithering attitude makes an illegal from Mexico look like a saint.

As for any amnesty: barring a sudden upsurge in the economy; I think not-------too many Americans would raise hell if their jobs were given to a bunch of lawbreakers.

Like to believe that ANY politician who remotely even TRIES to allow ANY form of Amnesty to illegals........would be ousted out on their butt so fast, their head would spin like that of someone who drank muchas tequila!

Most within the Federal Gov./ House and Senate are too afraid to actually DO something about the problem, or just don't know how to compromise and AGREE on what to do.......so......NOTHING gets done and they only hope the American people will gradually forget about it.......or the media will focus on OTHER pertinent NEWS and succeed at "difusing the issue by distraction."

Works all the time......especially since the vast majority of Americans have such a SHORT attention span and are too preoccupied watching "American Idol."

IMO.......NOTHING short of a MASS-ROUNDUP of ALL known areas of illegals will suffice and truly put such a level of FEAR in others that the majority would choose to deport themselves after enough mass-roundups are aired repeatedly on TV and other media outlets.......showing EQUAL seriousness of the issue to MANY in a drug bust from a COPS show!

IF.....the Government treated the matter like they have with raiding crack houses, meth labs and busting dope dealers........ILLEGALS......wouldn't even be an issue in this country!

Amnesty is a dead issue as far as passage.Look at the last vote. Failed twice in the senate;by bigger margin the second time around and didn't come close in the house. As soon as hillary or Obama mention it if elected the honeymoon will be over.

it's not that hard to detect an illegal.. it comes with experience.
it's like a cop.. they can pull over a car, and from experience.. they can
tell when something is fishy with the driver or occupants.. so having this experience,.,dealing with illegals.. knowing the signs of some one who most likely is an illegal.. it's not that hard to do... there are so many places that id's can be checked on a regular basis... they won't need to check 300 million people.. but you already knew that... just another excuse not to take action.

Easy places for border patrol, Minutemen, and others to stake out on a daily basis.
Welfare office, ER rooms, Construction sites, Lowes, Home depot, health clinics, Social Services, Hud office, SS office, and tons of other easy round-up places.. All it takes is a few guys and a big truck..
Experience can be gained, trained very quickly.. a group of National Guardsmen, a group of Minutemen, and together they can get the job done.
Start with the most populated states having illegals.. work your way up from those.. have groups of National Guard/Minutemen doing round-ups only and I.C.E. hold and deport.. will take some time.. better than not at all. Eventually.. many illegals will give up and leave on thier own.. not that hard... If we can send a man to the moon, Mt. Rushmore, organize a huge government as we have, build massive dams..massive bridges, underwater tunnels, and other MASSIVE structures.. we should be able to build a fence!

It's certainly practical to enforce that border and ask them there. And it's certainly practical to do workplace raids -- just like there are IRS investigations, OSHA investigations. And they can certainly get their ID when they come and apply for food stamps and other welfare or free health care.

I don't think arizona bound was talking about workplace raids or border enforcement. It seems to me he was suggesting a different kind of round up, like door to door.
