Much misinformation is out there about the Muslim faith and for good reason, they have several well funded organizations that spew out false propaganda as to make the unlearned sympathize and accept their religion of hate,(except they don't say that-------they say they are for peace, well sort of---they are for a piece of this country and a piece of this county until the whole world is under Muslim control---don't believe me, read the Quran!)
Islam is the Arabic term for "submission", Muslim means "one who submits." Allah is a little stone idol moon god that originally came from the Babylonian moon god, "BEL"; definitely not the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (notice their symbol is the cresent moon.) Muhammad the so called prophet of Allah, whom Muslims believe displaced Jesus, wrote the original Qur'an which means "the recitation", this is supposedly revelations given by Allah through his archangel to Muhammad. Muslims believe that Quran supersedes the Bible used by Christians. Sura' refer to the divisions within the Quran, kind of like chapters in the Bible. A Caliph is a main leader of Islam and a successor of Muhammad. Ayatollah refers to a spiritual master in ****'te Islam. Ulamas are the guards of the orthodoxy and they have extensive power in matters of religion, and they legislate the Law. The are the defenders of the Islamic law, and they fight against what they call the eroding effects of the Western world, and the people of the Book. (Jews and Christians)
There are over 30 small wars on this planet and most of them involve Muslims killing to take control for Allah. Their religion, life style, laws, and politics are all the same and are found in the Koran. Deception, lies, deceit are commanded by Islam to reach their goal of world domination.------------There's a lot more---I'll just see how this is received and where it may go.
Well in reality, more people have been killed in the name of God on this planet then for any other reason at all. The Christians are equally as guilty of this. Look at the crusades, the thought behind the ideology was essentially the same as many of the radical muslims see their jihad today. There are plenty of moderate muslims, but many in the Muslim world are centuries behind the west and on this particular topic it shows that a lot of people in the arab world are still living in the dark ages and unfortunately are successfully spreading their message of hate across the globe.
And yes, lots of the traditions in our 3 largest religions are nothing more than a mishmash of pagan beliefs/traditions, because this was the easiest way to convert the pagans back in that time period (ex: december 25 for Xmas).

I took the liberty to highlight your own deceptive language. This seems like nothing more than regurgitated "facts" provided at a non-Muslim sunday gathering. And I couldn't help but wonder how these deceptive Muslim robots are any different than those of the Christian right? I mean, don't they all desire the American government to return to its Christian foundation and outlaw gay marriage and abortion according to their religion's scripture?

Perhaps the word "Allah" sounds strange to your ears. Maybe you are wondering what it means or maybe you heard something about it but you are not sure. "Allah" is the name of the Creator who created everything and whom every believer worshipped from the beginning of the universe.
He is the same God whom the Jews, Christians and Muslims worship and until now Arab Jews and Christians use this name. He has many other names and attributes by which He describes Himself to His creatures. It is as He has said in the Quran: "...To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names..." (59:24)
