Got a call earlier. My Grandson went out on his very first deer hunt today. Ruined him. He shot a 6 point Whitetail. It's been my experience, through the years, a person always trys to better themselves each time. What the hell is going to go after next year?
Setting here, nice and toasty and got to thinking. My furnace is out, the roads are closed, maybe I should call FEMA and get me one of them trailers..... and a credit card for $2,000. The problem is, they'd hound me to death wanting to give me more crap for the rest of my life.

Been seeing quite a few honkers around Boise, too... some of 'em flying
north .
Good dog nose: Bunch of geese flew overhead. About half an hour later I let the dog out. She promptly sticks her head straight up, sniffing like mad... apparently could smell traces from those geese!
