Wow...glad you dodged the bullet(s). You're exactly right, times like these make you realize truly how random weather is. And it also makes me glad that I don't have any old growth trees in my yard that can suddenly appear in my bedroom in the middle of a storm. Although I do miss the shade...

Just to follow up...they scored 87 on the reinspection.

Still. Ew.

I hear you on that. I have a very large tree in my front yard that's pretty close to the house & I plan to eventually have it taken down & replaced with a much smaller crape myrtle. It's just not been a priority for me but maybe now I'll bump that up on my to-do list. Not to say a crape myrtle wouldn't break my windows if it fell, it certainly would, but it would never tower way over my house like the giant tree that's there now.

Frivolity Alert!

I just learned that A Moment's Peace Day Spa in Franklin is offering a free versaspa tan for the month of April. You just have to go to their website and print out a voucher.

^I never go to Franklin, but that's a great deal

Good lookin' out on the VersaSpa too, Tunky! Maybe I should go get a free spray tan & then head to the theater

I'm drawing a complete blank right now on any festivals, etc. that occur in May. Obviously it's a great month to be here because the weather is good...warm but not stifling hot. I'd look at www.nashvillescene.com for any upcoming events.

In other news...Opry Mills is slated to reopen in Spring 2012

I honestly can't think of anything. Every year I swear I'm going to make it to Memphis in May & haven't ever gotten around to it. One big event after the other every single weekend in Memphis in May. You might want to check it out, here's the link: Memphis In May International Festival 2011: Salute to Belgium
