Thanks. I needed that as well. I submitted everything required weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. I gave them a one week grace period after the internal shake-up (Bonnie getting fired) but have not heard from anybody. I'm told the person who replaced her is named Anna but I have not been able to get Anna on the phone to save my life!
I just found mice in the apartment I've been in for almost three months and am ready to get the hell outta there ASAP!

Thedawn, I notice you said you’ve been in your apartment for about 3 months. Be careful about how you break your lease. That stuff can follow you.

Did anyone who is moving in by Sept 1, 2011 sign their lease, if not do you know when we are suppose to be signing the lease because I don't want to pay my landlord any more money for staying pass Sept 1.

Cacner..... Maybe instead of paying your current landlord talk to him and let him know that he can either keep your security deposit of maybe even prorate you for the days you remain there. Hopefully you have a landlord that will work with you in the event you aren't in your new apt in 2 weeks. I hope you did give your 30 days notice, but either way those are your best 2 options.

Im nervous and also anxious to see if my stars are aligned so that my luck strikes! Fingers,Toes,Arms,Legs,& Eyes are all CROSSED!

Okay so I stopped by the Knickerbocker leasing office and was told right at the window that they are no longer accepting applications/ along with a straight face! But good thing I had spoken to someone earlier in the week and that actually got my application taken and I saw her quickly skim over the front page n she then tells me to be expecting a call in OCTOBER! I'm like WOW! [twiddles thumbs anxiously!] Here goes my desperate 2 month wait! I hope I get a call for an interview...
