There is a apartment I would love to look at that appears to be on that strip...and I would love to know if I should avoid at all costs. Would be ashame because the apartment seems lovely!

And, off topic, if I shouldn't avoid at all costs, does anyone who knows that area know if the Q is reliable and a true under 30 min commute into Midtown?

THANK YOU!
Tennis Court has always been a bad block, don't see that changing any time soon.

I'm not from NY but that's someting I really needed to know before visiting the city. I've heard of some dangerous areas but not all of them which are on the maps

Must say, Chauncey Street is some scary sh*t. I was passing through it today, and you cannot pay me enough to go back there

Middle Village. I went to Glendale to pick up a friend and then go to another friend's house in Bushwick, but noone of us is familiar with that side of Bushwick so we kinda got lost. And the friend in Bushwick cancelled on us last minute so we walked like five miles for nothing

Yeah! Now I can brag to the Scarsdale/Bronxville people at my college how I got lost in the roughest streets of Brooklyn and lived to tell the tale...well at least until the people from Paterson, Newark and Brigeport start laughing and presumably putting down Biggie's hometown with hurtful remarks

It used to be in some parts of Harlem or Brooklyn you didn't want to be stopping at no red lights. When you were penned in, dudes would put you on blocks right there and take off all your lug nuts and walk away with all four wheels. Good luck in the hood buddy!!
