Why do some people like puppies/dogs but not babies/kids? (issues, person)

Many people have disoriented value systems and lack balance. They forget or never learned that despite all the sorrows brought upon the world by mankind, humans come first. Animals come second. And as cuddly as many are, God still permits us to use some as food.
Humans come first?
Really.
Does that mean there is no rape, abuse, pedophilia, parents putting cigarettes out on kids, caging them, the glorification of bullying, denying them health care and housing.
Nice fantasy.
Show me so proof of this god thing you're talking about.
As soon as you throw in a sky daddy, I know the comment is agenda driven.
To answer the OP's original question, uh because dogs are worlds diferent than a human baby. Sorry to say, but this is a stupid question. You know how much more responsibilities you need to be a parent as opposed to a pet owner? Think about it.
The most you'll have to do w/ dogs is crate train it, give it walks, water & feed it, give it the occaional bath & maybe other minor grooming, play w/ it at times, & take it to the vet at times for its shots & that's about it.
In a nutshell with kids, you'll have to make sure they are raised w/ good morals & values, attend good schools where they hopefully won't be influenced by bad kids, make sure they stay on the straight & narrow, etc. & there's just way too much other stuff to type here. I can write a book.
A. A big kid themselves. B. selfish C .Rude D. Don't realize that not all kids turned out like some of the brats you see. E. Like animals because they don't talk back. F. When the pets die not a big deal.

Hands down, the most spectacularly inaccurate post ever on this Forum. And the competition for that "prize" is fierce indeed.
Anyone who would think "when pets die it's not a big deal" is beyond saving.
I thought the same thing when reading the above bolded post, but you said it much better, Ulysses. I repped ya.
"Not a big deal" when a pet dies? Please get a clue.
See...I'd never have the patience to deal with having a puppy, full-time, in the house. The first time it chewed up an expensive pair of my shoes, I'd be putting a "free to good home" on it.
I thought of something: You can leave a dog in the car unattended. Try that with a kid... .
I personally don't like the idea of leaving dogs in the car anyway--especially in extreme weather (Summer or Winter). I understand you can't bring them in stores, but it still seems wrong to me. I'd rather leave them at home where they'd be more comfortable.
