Wasn't Bill Clinton also a two term president?

Think about where that convention is being held, this year. I am sure that he thought about this before making that statement the day he did. It is purely political and has nothing to do with what he feels.

Strange.
You know there's nothing strange about it. Obama does it to garner votes.
They all do, except Ron Paul

Obama is a wonderful speaker when he talks about hope and change.
Anyone can be really, when they mimic, being preacherisque.
He'll be preachin like it's 1969

Not so much, when Obama tries to talk concrete issues - how he
fell flat when he told folks at a black caucus:
"Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes.
Shake it off. Stop complainin'" ...
all the while, black unemployment is double the national average at 16-17 percent.

Obama just does not grasp our economic disaster. If a Pres is not
successful at that, well.... he can keep his change and all the
snow job pilings that go along with it...

Wouldn't that be two pair, considering the issue? His unwillingness to hold strong convictions on anything speaks volumes - we need a leader not a political panderer..

We also had a phenomenal economy at the time.
All that new money, the dot.com's etc...

Good Luck, good policy or a combo of both.
IMO Clinton was superior to Obama in every way,
And Bill has a better laugh

How dependent are we on foreign oil?

Quote:
The United States imported about 45% of the petroleum (crude oil and petroleum products) that we consumed during 2011. Just over half of these imports came from the Western Hemisphere. Our dependence on foreign petroleum has declined since peaking in 2005.
