My only solution would be pick a (retail) job where the work hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday and closes on the Holidays or inclement weather. Good Luck.

I will boycot stores that open on Thansgiving for an early start on black friday. This represents total disregard for traditional American values.

Whoopie-do!
So will I since I don't like shopping with mobs of other people.Do you think the world will know the difference between why you don't and why I don't?
Or are you planning to demonstrate in front of one of the stores?

You have to get others to boycott it with you to be successful. These stores are opening at 8PM and 12AM... WELL after the traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Doesn't matter when the traditional "dinner" or whatever is.

Stores should be forced to close on Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day, and reduced hours on other holidays.

Yes, we need a law for mandating them being closed, and pay their employees for being off.
