Not really, since anyone banned from female sports for not meeting the minimum femininity requirements could still compete in open competition (with men).
The Y chromosome is not expressed, i.e. turned on. It's there, but she is essentially functioning physiologically as a female on a single X. Anyway who is it to say that certain levels are female and certain levels are not when she clearly exists as a female with the levels supposed to be non-female.
Then, one contrasts that to transgender athletes who clearly have developed bodies based on the male gender, but are allowed to function as a female.
IMHO, Caster should be competing as a female. That's who she is; arbitrary levels are just that arbitrary.

The New York Times has been highly biased in its reporting by not informing its readers that she has XY Chromosomes, lacks women parts and has men parts. The NY Times has essentially lied to further social justice and created confusion with its lies.

She is intersex, not a biological female and not a biological male, but she resembles a man physically more than a female, and she is competing mostly against women that don't have testicles and high levels of testosterone.
Men or intersex people are allowed to compete as women, but as long as their testosterone levels come down to a level closer to that of the women. She will still have testosterone levels higher than the biological women that she faces.
The past Olympics saw the 800 meter Women's race have all 3 medal winners as intersex runners who aren't technically females biologically and have elevated levels of testosterone for a women win Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Being intersex does give you an advantage over female athletes.
This is not the same as an 8 foot tall basketball player. This isn't much different than having a man compete against women - as her testicles and lack of ovaries gives her an advantage over the female athletes chemically speaking.
Intersex isn't not quite female or male, intersex people are either female or male but sometimes someone that is technically male, like Semenya, will be raised as female due to not being diagnosed as a baby (her DSD would not have become apparent until puberty when menstruation didn't commence)
Laurel Hubbard was born a man and was into weightlifting without much success. However, in her 30s she transitioned to being a woman and now at 41 is dominating women's weightlifting competitions. She just won 2 Golds and a Silver medal in her 3 events including beating out the strongest woman from the most recent commonwealth games.
An organization called "Speak up for women" is arguing that people born as men should not be allowed to compete as women, while others are saying that speak up for women is being discriminatory and hurtful.

But for now, it shows how far over the edge we've gone being PC. There is a reasonable allowance that can be made to treat everyone fairly and with dignity but this is sporting competition specifically set up because of the physical advantages between genders.
Exactly! It just shows you how stupidity can run rampant when the PC crowd takes over. All his PC crap will eventually either slowly change back to sanity....or will eventually just implode on itself. It is NOT self sustaining. Good riddance when it does.
