While I am not a huge fan of pictures of aborted babies being sprung on people, I do believe it is important that people see them as these pictures depict the truth and horror of abortion. The fact of the matter is, we are visual learners. Is is wrong to show people what smoking does to their lungs and body? Is is wrong to show teenagers pictures of drunk driving accidents so as to teach them the dangers of drinking and driving? Do we brand it vile and repulsive to have pictures of the Holocaust in our history books? What about pictures of starving children in Africa? No, b/c these pictures educate, they depict truth and seeing the truth changes hearts and puts people into action. Yes, pictures of aborted babies are disgusting and horrible, but more disgusting and horrible is the actual practice of abortion, which no one can deny stops the beating heart of a member of the human race and does so by horrifying mutiliation.
Great post and great points. Well done! Rep point coming.
Today I went out to run some errands, and a religious anti-abortion group was holding up graphic signs of dismembered fetuses on the side of a major road. There was absolutely no way to avoid seeing them. I was disgusted by this, and my first thought was, is this legal??? I mean, anyone who drives down this road is unknowingly forced to look at these graphic images, children included. Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, do you think this was appropriate? I'm curious to hear people's responses.
Very poor taste and self defeating with regards to getting their message across.

Oh please....
If a graphic display is potentially traumatizing to innocent by standers it should not be allowed to stay. Someone's right to mental peace outweighs others right to show the truth, which why we don't see naked people on Ads having sex.
I see this all the time outside abortion clinics, even festivals. Yep, those wackos can even justify protesting at a festival. They're all idiots, they have nothing better to do w/their time. Either ignore them or flip them off or better yet, ask them if they'll take care of your baby? That should shut them up.
what a waste of good oxygen you are. you raging liberals protest something every opportunity you get. you can't stand seeing conservatives doing the same can you? please tell me that you don't actually have kids.

dont wana be causing wreaks. however i think it is healthy to examine our perception of abortion. abortion was never intended to be a birth control method.
the later you wait on the abortion the more it begins to look like killing a child.
