...and hopefully they will win the other 3 quarters.
The first quarter had 3 road games and they won 2 of them.
I can't wait to see what they look like when all of their defensive players return.
Pederson also has to remember that, once in awhile, he has to run the ball.

The Cowboys defense stinks.
With the first pick in the 2018 NFL draft, the New York Giants select...

Stick a fork in the Giants - they're done. Their next 2 games are at Denver and home against Seattle - a good chance they fall to 0-7. Eli Manning is simply not a good enough QB to overcome all of the team's other issues.

Carson Wentz is slowly maturing into a solid NFL QB. They have a great TE in Ertz and will cause problems for teams the rest of the season.

you are right about both manning and wentz. manning is getting long in the tooth, and cant do the things he did when he was younger. so the giants need to upgrade the offensive line, and find another receiver like beckham. a decent running back would be good also.

as for wentz, he is starting to live up to his capabilities.

Only 4 more road games left.

Good Bye Ezekiel Elliot. See you after 6 games.

Seems like the Eagles may be for real! They do seem like a complete team. Their defense created turnovers at the right spots to put their offense in a good position to score. That front 7 is a beast. We will see how they play the next few games but they are in a good position to run away with division.

Boys lost last 2 home conference games at the end. Could easily be 3-2 or even 4-1...but they aren't. I think Zeke being out will have effect of course...but not like it would have last year. Need to have other RBs step up, as well as coaching and play calling. Want Dak to keep playing like he did in Packers game....may have to keep putting team on his shoulders. Not really feeling Boys defense except when they play Giants.

Need to see more from Skins but they played #1 team Chiefs very well. We will see.

nice post, and i agree with you. the problem i see with the cowboys defense is not a lack of talent, but rather it being hamstrung by the scheme being used, and the lack of experience in the secondary. the scheme is too conservative these days. offensive lines are getting better, so rushing four is not the way to go anymore. you need to blitz at least one linebacker or safety to force the offense to keep a running back in on passing downs, and not give quarterbacks time to throw the ball. you also need to keep quarterbacks contained in the pocket as well.

and right now the eagles are the team to beat in the NFC, more power to them. carson wentz is becoming the quarterback i thought he would be last season, so good for him.

the redskins are finally getting the stuff together and once again are becoming a force in the NFC east. the giants, not so much. they need lot, a better offensive line and another receiver to take the load off beckham for when he comes back. until they get that receiver, their running game is going to be pretty much shut down as teams load the box to stop that run. and eli is going to be running for his life with the suspect line.
