Well I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. At 14-0 it felt like it was 30-0, they were so in control of that game from the start. CT and Dunbar were obviously the players of the game. I'm not sure they can win consistently with that dink and dunk style, against the better teams you need some "chunk" plays of bigger yardage, but it sure worked yesterday. Oh and it helped that the Cardinals are horrible.
What a blast yesterday was. The NFL is my favorite sport and I totally enjoyed watching the Red Zone Channel, that thing is awesome. I liked seeing the Giants and Boy lose.
If Richardson had not gotten held, Smith would've connected with him on a huge TD pass. Despite, Richardson, still, very nearly caught it.
I like how much bigger, stronger and more athletic Alex Smith plays over Kirk Cousins. And I didn't see any of those little moments of panic you get several times a game from Cousins when the rush comes in.
It's early yet, don't think the Cards were much of challenge but I think the Skins are in better hands at QB.
And the Redskins pretty much dominated the Cardinals all game long. Everybody looked pretty good. Alex Smith, Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, Jordan Reed, and the defense. I was especially proud of Dunbar. Only downfall was not hearing much out of Ryan Kerrigan, but I promise he's going to get his. 'Skins will have a tough schedule until their early bye, but I sense good things for this team.
Not going to be a Debbie Downer about having a 34 year old quarterback. Smith could probably play until he's 40 if he wanted to. This team may be built to win now, but honestly, I WANT them to win now.

WR's were basically DOA.
It was really good to actually see a running game again. It wasn't perfect, but it was a full load for AP and he was still chugging away at the end.. Wish he had gotten the 100 yard game.
As for Cousins.. He threw a couple of real pretty balls against the 49ers. Throws that I've never really seen him make.. Putting the ball on a dime.
Glad you brought this up as I've been meaning to check. He was one of my favorites on that station, a real Redskins/Maryland guy. Instead I get more Doc Walker and his "manhood" schtick that is really getting old.

It's nice to see pod casts are a great option for these guys. That is a brutal business, in a snap of a finger boom you are gone. And it happens all the time to these guys. Here is a local guy with local team knowledge, both present and the past. Is he really supposed to get a gig as a sports talk host in Cincinnati?
