Oh and it helped that the Cardinals are horrible.

What a blast yesterday was. The NFL is my favorite sport and I totally enjoyed watching the Red Zone Channel, that thing is awesome. I liked seeing the Giants and Boy lose.
If Richardson had not gotten held, Smith would've connected with him on a huge TD pass. Despite, Richardson, still, very nearly caught it.

I like how much bigger, stronger and more athletic Alex Smith plays over Kirk Cousins. And I didn't see any of those little moments of panic you get several times a game from Cousins when the rush comes in.

It's early yet, don't think the Cards were much of challenge but I think the Skins are in better hands at QB.

I wish the Bills would have traded for Smith.

'Skins will have a tough schedule until their early bye, but I sense good things for this team.

Not going to be a Debbie Downer about having a 34 year old quarterback. Smith could probably play until he's 40 if he wanted to. This team may be built to win now, but honestly, I WANT them to win now.

Well, I will be Debbie Downer, but about something else..

The offense was basically Jordan Reed, Chris Thompson and Adrian Peterson.

Redskins Total Yards - 429
Yards NOT from those three players - 95

WR's were basically DOA.

It was really good to actually see a running game again. It wasn't perfect, but it was a full load for AP and he was still chugging away at the end.. Wish he had gotten the 100 yard game.

As for Cousins.. He threw a couple of real pretty balls against the 49ers. Throws that I've never really seen him make.. Putting the ball on a dime.

Glad you brought this up as I've been meaning to check. He was one of my favorites on that station, a real Redskins/Maryland guy. Instead I get more Doc Walker and his "manhood" schtick that is really getting old.

Yeah, he seems to have a fetish for crushing windpipes.

Give it a rest, Doc.
