I can't speak much of the Quran as I'm just a layman. Howeve 1 prediction that I do remember in the Quran was the prediction that the Byzantines would triumph over the Persians. Now this surah was revealed to the Prophet at a time when the Persians were at their apex and had just defeated the Byzantines. No one at that time of the revealation would ever believe that the eventual triumph of the Byzantines would come. But it did just as prophecied in the Quran
No one has ever proven the Bible was filled with errors or contradictions to me. And I have been here for a long time. Care to show me one?
And the Bible tells us that in the last days, God would allow the Jewish people to return to the land of Israel and retake Jerusalmem. God tells us He would do this to anger the nations. I would say that prophecy was right on.

It just seems strange that an all powerful God and creator of the stars, the planets, oceans, galaxies...the entire universe, has nothing better to do than take sides and care which group of bickering people take control of a tiny, worthless piece of land with erroded ancient religious structures situated in the middle of a desert.

God has allowed the Jews to return to their land, to reveal to the Jews and the world, who He is. God did not bring the Jews back to Israel for their sakes, because God speaking of the Jews, states that they polluted His name were ever they went. God has a very low opinion of the Jewish people. And that statement is based on the Jewish writings of the Old Testament.

Isn't there something in the bible about, "peace on earth good will toward men."

Gospel of Luke.

"13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

Yet you say God wants to "anger the nations'! That doesn't sound like it would lead to peace on earth to me! Yet you do not see contradictions!

Perhaps because you refuse to consider anything that does not go along with your "beliefs", which you call facts. If you refuse to even look at other ideas, how can you truly improve your belief.

Oh, by the way, no one has ever proven that the bible is 100% correct and lacking contradictions to me. And I have been here for a long time. Care to show me proof that does not use the bible as its basis?

The Bible clearly tells us, there will be no peace on earth, until Jesus Christ returns the second time. The Book of Revelation clearly points that out, and the other Old Testement prophecies tell us the samething.
Jesus came into this world to be put to death on the cross, so it was obvious there would be no peace when He arrived either. The angles proclaimed peace, yet their word had little power to do that. Yet they knew that someday peace would come because of Jesus. Yet that peace is for the future.

The bible clearly tells me that it is no authority on anything, so when you start a sentence as you often do with "the bible tells us" that only shows me that you don't think for yourself...
