Went to Golden Wok's new location on Marbach and 410 next to IHOP. I had cantonese lo mein and that was good but hubby's brown rice with his lemon chicken was a little strange tasting.

Nancy's in Bastrop - a bit of a drive but a nice family steak house if you are there.

La Vie in Alon Plaza - tried the shrimp boy which was recommended. It was good as were the sweet potato fries.

Goomba's Pizzeria in Schertz

We had the Italian submarine sandwich which was quite good.

They try to make the decor Italian like... but comes across a
little cheesy.

Will try a pizza next time.

Went to R & Bs Taste of Chicago on Austin Highway. I normally get the cheesesteak, which I think is the best in the city. This time, though, I tried the zesty Italian Sub. Very good. Much better than any chain place. I'll be getting it again before the end of the week.
