With their brown and white chests, Green Herons look more like American Bitterns and are much smaller than Great Blue Herons (which look more grayish than blue to my eyes). They're also a a bit smaller than Little Blue Herons, which are truly blue.

Default FLAME AZALEA's

My backyard trail hillside is bombed with "FLAME AZALEAs" from Red color and pinkish White. Some over 10ft high, attract butterfly and some Bee's.
.. A member of the Rhododendron - Heath family, also known to mtn people as Wild HONEYSUCKLE.
....
..Believe grows well in shade acid soil from pine branch mulch and leaves compost.

Default EARTH Day- Cuddy COVE

Gang: Happy Earth day 80 degrees here across Tenn, hope all friends out in woods taking pictures today. We got the classic boat put back together after top side paint , hardware cleaning.
. Launched 1st time of season. Visit church friends on main channel then
put on Super Calm anchor cove. Will spend most of week beached down hill
from house among all the Flamne Azalea's.

Do you have a preset on your camera for outdoor sports photos? I sometimes find that setting helpful for fidgety birds.
