seems like he tried to bash the door in with cricket bat and when that didn't work, he went back for his gun. What was his explanation about the door being bashed?

Here's another possibility regarding the use of the cricket bat ...

What if Pistorious grabbed the cricket bat first, and chased Steenkamp with it, and she then ran into the bathroom to get away from him?

That would explain why the neighbor heard a woman screaming before the gunshots.

Then after she was inside the bathroom, he started hitting the bathroom door with the cricket bat to scare her?

Then perhaps they argued back and forth through the closed door, and something was said that got him really angry, so he got his gun and fired at the closed door?

The above may be the actual reason he used the cricket bat on the door, and not the reason he claimed (to break the door down after he shot her)?

You and I were thinking the exact same thing at the same time.

Right, and I'm waiting for the prosecution or someone to point out the significance of the blood spatter evidence. So far, it's all procedural, and all the questioning of the photographer is about the sequence of photos, and timing, and who else was in the room at the time----when is someone going to explain what it all MEANS?

The news reported this morning that she was in a defensive position when she was shot - her arms were in front of her face. It is also believed that she was killed by the third bullet.

And the first shot to her hip was when she was in a standing position behind the door, there was no evidence she was ever sitting on the toilet, and she did not have her shorts down around her ankles so no way was she in there going to the bathroom.

The defense lawyer Roux hardly cross-examined the ballistics and forensic blood spatter experts---there was not much he could do to discredit that testimony.

I read today that Reeva's Mum had never even met Oscar P. before this. It wasn't even a serious relationship.

That says it all.

I think he is 100% guilty!

She obviously must have screamed after the first bullet hit her, so there is no reason in the world for him to fire 3 more bullets, or for him to not be aware he was firing at her.
