I think the Boltons know Arya is fake in the book?
Yeah, they do.
Spoiler
They cleaned up "Reek" so "Theon" could hand her off at the wedding, the thought being (in lieu of an actual male Stark), he would legitimize her as the real Arya having grown up with her and put any doubts to rest. When Ramsay starts torturing Jeyne/fake Arya after their marriage, it seems to turn the neutral Northern families against the Boltons, as they are still very protective of Ned's daughter.

Hmmmm. Maybe it's time to read Vol.5 again. I totally forgot about that. As long as I can skip over the tumbling dwarves sections...
I don't think they care either way whether she is a real Stark or not. She was named as Stark and portrayed as a Stark and unless the real Anya shows up they can call her Stark; therefore their legitimacy is enhanced.
They are playing the game and it isn't about what you believe but what you can cause others to believe to your advantage.
looks like we'll get the first appearance of the Sand Snakes tonight. Should be interesting...I wonder if they'll stick close to what happens in the books, only substituting Ellaria for Arianne Martell?
no comments on last night's episode? I'm still upset about the death of Ser Barristan.
And what about Grey Worm? Is he dead or just seriously injured? It looked like he was laying in a pool of blood, so that didn't look good. Endings like last nights makes me wish I was watching all the episodes at once so I could have immediately gone on to the next episode. The preview for next week's episode looks good.
If Grey Worm and Barristan Selmy are both dead, that leaves Dany without her strong support system, especially since she exiled Ser Jorah. That may be where Tyrion comes in....if he can lay off the booze, he can be a big help to her.
Who were those masked men? Were they the former masters? It's been a while since I read the books, and I honestly can't remember this massacre happening.
Remember, Tyrion is a Lannister so Dany will decide if it will be "Off with his head."
She may forgive Jorah because he captured Tyrion and turned him in. Then she would
have an advisor.
Maybe the bookies can offer some insights on this turn of events before next Sunday.
