I thought Big Mike knocked it out of the park.

I'm an Andrew Garcia fan at the moment. Barring an as-yet-unseen or un-featured contestant, I, too, predict he'll win.

OK wait - I thought tonight was the 24 people night! We sat and watched all that torture --- how many minutes did they use up saying, "They have been sitting here for two hours." "They have been sitting here for two hours and 3 minutes." "It's emotional." "Will they make it?" funeral music...

OH STOP. Show us the auditions. Then show us the decisions. I don't want to sit and watch half an hour of people sweating it out in a room. But on the bright side, I got all my emails checked, fixed dinner, cleaned the bathroom, caulked the roof, and rewired the front porch while I was waiting!

Oh wait! This evening is TWO hours long! OMG. More torture!
Dreams come crashing down. Desperate. Painful walk. -- You know, there is life after Idol! And eventually, all but one will go home. So what's the big deal? You gots to walk in there knowing THAT!

One question -- I've wanted to ask this for a long time... what exactly does Simon mean when he says, "I thought that was indoooooolgent."

AI is making me tense this year. No idea why. I'm not emtionally attached.

It's just the weird way they are presenting things this year. Too much hopping around, like there's no structure or plan in the editing room.

I was happy to see Didi & Casey make it through. I don't really care about the other 5. Looking forward to seeing Andrea, Tasha, Katie & Crystal make it tonight.

Thumbs up As of 2-17-10 AM....

Round One, my vote is on Casey James for AI 2010 I sure hope AI is not as big of a snooze fest tonight !!! I do have several others that I like, including Andrew Garcia, but I also believe that they've probably 'hidden' some of the talent to keep our interest, so who knows who will stand out more in future shows ???

Pretty boring episode last night; more of the same on tap for tonight. I would prefer if they just showed the final auditions, do the 'room elimination' if required and then show the dramatic walk to meet the judges.

I understand they are editing it to make it more dramatic and I'm sure they need to mix things up for ratings. But IMO, it didn't work.

Anyhow, I like DiDi the best so far. Just not enough true footage to make a solid judgement at this point.

I am SO glad that fugly, mean, arrogant woman, Mary Powers, is gone, gone, GONE! Good riddance to bad rubbish. She thinks she's all that and she's so not even close.

There was one girl in room 2 that I thought was great and I was really surprised they cut her, though I'm having a hard time recalling her name. Charity, maybe?

If the "shocking elimination" is Andrew Garcia I will be so furious.
