Please correct your statement. First, there is no anointed governing body for Christians. Second, only Jehovah's Witnesses allow their children to die because some men in New York told them to. Third, God said nothing about blood transfusions. That's an erroneous rule passed down by the Watchtower in 1945.

If you're not going to answer questions asked of you, don't make a fool of yourself by asking the same question that has been answered repeatedly. Answering a question with a question is not useful in a conversation.

Anything that harms you is considered sin. Since smoking harms you and does have adverse health effects it is a sin.

Indeed, modern rabbinical experts have unequivocally stated that smoking is considered sinful because of its adverse effects on the body of a human that is supposed to serve God in health. The problem is why they don't carry this logic further and say the same thing about the consumption of sugar and refined carbohydrates which destroy health as well as we all know.

You ignore the mixing of meat and dairy but hold rigidly to the consumption of blood?...

I would say Yes - because secondhand smoke can kill.

Nothing to correct sir, The apostles were anointed with holy spirit as recorded in the Bible, they were the governing body as seen with the traveling overseer Paul going to them to settle an issue that had came up in the Congregations. They are the ones that stated abstain from blood, and God saw to it that it was recorded in the Bible at Acts 15:29, read it for yourself if you do not believe me.

You are not proposing that God leaves His people without leadership today are you?

Smoking is definitely harmful and provable. Although I agree that certain foods can be harmful, keep in mind what is unhealthy today, may be healthy tomorrow. I believe you are correct about sugar, not so much on the carbs, but of course I am far from being a nutritionist.
