Most of NY State is very affordable.

You keep on thinking that NYC = NY State. You know there is a difference right? Because I am referring to the WHOLE STATE, not just NYC

Yeah, they got nothing to say to that. No place in the country can beat how popular NYC is to move to (LA is a close second though)

Texas forum = 608,000 + posts

New York = 280,000 posts

Gee, unless I am wrong it seems there is WAY more interest in moving to Texas than NY

Time to move on, since we all know you are wrong here

While I don't doubt it adds to the issue, I know a few folks who work in the medical field down in TX and they would disagree with this assessment as the main cause. They say the percent is about right 1/3rd don't have anything no matter where they are from.

My advice to you as a state is A.) Stop making excuses like this one B.) Decide if and what your problem is C.) Decide if you really want to fix it or not. If you don't, you don't and anyone moving there takes that under their belt.

lol now you're going by post count? That seems very desperate. You ever think most of those posts are from the locals? I just looked at a few threads and most of the posts. 90% from Texans. Look and see where the posts are from on the NY board. Count for me how many threads there are about moving to Texas in the last 2 days, and get back me, k thanks

And THANK GOD for that! We have more than enough people thank you.

If Texas, which has more than 5 times more land area than New York State had the same population density of New York, she would have 100 million people instead of only 24 million. Who wants that?

I am GLAD New York State is growing slowly. For instance do you actually believe the quality of life would be better in Texas if she had 50 million people instead of 24 million?
