If Texas, which has more than 5 times more land area than New York State had the same population density of New York, she would have 100 million people instead of only 24 million. Who wants that?

I am GLAD New York State is growing slowly. For instance do you actually believe the quality of life would be better in Texas if she had 50 million people instead of 24 million?

That's a good point. I'm glad we don't have the problems Texas is facing with the population boom.

Count much?? There were 8 links

Furthermore, look at the population stats. Those speak far more than some crack site you looked up

In fairness, NYC is gaining, but NY State as a whole is barely gaining. Houston and Texas are both gaining alot. You are wrong again

That site is a "crack site" (What in the world is that, anyway??? ); it's not that different than C-D. So that means you're insulting C-D.

I'm glad NY doesn't have the problems TX has with its population boom. You guys can't keep up, while it's pretty nice here and we aren't facing those problems

Texas has passed you. They are laughing at your welfare state while looking in their rearview mirror, glad they are not experiencing all the problems (infrastrucute, taxes, budget deficits etc) as you are

Personally, I think it is funny since the same kinds of politicians that ran the state into the ground keep on getting elected

And we're laughing at your population boom you can't handle, as well as your illegal immigration problem. And not to mention the drug problem that so many Texans say that is so rampant with Mexico being right there.

It works both ways. Nothing wrong with welfare and helping people either. I don't care that we're a "welfare state" or whatever you call it.

And there is no huge drug problem in NY State?

The population boom is good and bad since it is gratifying to know that so many people would rather be in Texas than washed up backward states like NY, but at the same time it is an awful lot of people to absorb at once
