I see your point.

Facebook is not a news source, however that would explain some of the race rhetoric we are reading here.
For example, Ben Shapiro is not news, but he's always in the top ten each week on facebook.

Top ten categories/pages on facebook are always conservative/republican.

What is news? CNN? MSNBC? FOX? I’ll wait.

The American media has proven themselves to be so biased that my neighbor’s opinion two doors down is no different than what we’re watching on these networks.

No Facebook itself is not a news source. Agree. But the Republican-American out of Waterbury and the Record-Journal out of Meriden for instance have Twitter/Facebook accounts and they post articles that would appear in their newspaper.

About seven companies control about 90% of the TV, radio, and print media in the United States. All of these companies are owned and controlled by right wing /conservatives. So if you don't trust the media you now know where to place blame.

Thankfully, I don’t need to respond with much to the above for others to realize how ludicrous it sounds.

Republicans Take Call For New Laws To The Public
https://ctnewsjunkie.com/2021/12/06/...to-the-public/

“There are people who believe that we should be putting kids 14 and under in prison but that’s not going to make them a better person. What do you think is going to happen after they have been there 10 years? And most of these kids aren’t 14-year-olds.That’s a hypothetical conversation.” - Senator Winfield D-New Haven.

What is exactly happening right now Senator? How is releasing them back into the community with no punishment making them a better person?

Good question. Kids need to know there are consequences for their actions. PERIOD. That is what wrong today, no one is held accountable. This is wrong. I firmly believe kids need a little bit of fear in them. It gives them humility and empathy. That is important and it’s missing in these kids. I’m not sure how you can instill that in these kids other than to be strict with them. Something has to done. Jay

There was definitely a major uptick in crime in Easton. Car thefts are constant. It must be spillover from the crime in Bridgeport. It is too close to Bridgeport.
