Funny I brought this up and was ridiculed by a few posters. Her brother and I tend to agree.
Her putting on her Black face / makeup is the same.
I'm really going to show my age here but the first thing I thought of when I saw her was the movie "Soulman" where C. Thomas Howell put on blackface to get a scholarship to Harvard.
So it's not so much about her wanting to be black and identifying as black, as it is about the deception?
If folks are trippin' over this white woman passing for black in 2015 in a so-called "post-racial america cause we have a BLACK president", can you imagine what would have happened to blacks caught passing back in the day?
And when I say "back in the day", I'm talking going back to the 1970s/early 80s.
We all know there are millions of whites who have black ancestry in this country, but would NEVER TELL A SOUL. They would continue with the "native american" nonsense until the grave.

That's not really relevant, though. This is like someone who isn't a Vietnam vet falsely claiming to be one in order to procure benefits specifically reserved for Vietnam War vets.
It isn't who she identifies with, or how she prefers to "pass", it's lying for personal/professional gain. She could easily be jailed for stealing from Howard and for making up the KKK stories.

Yes, in fact, it does. I know it hurts your pea-brain to think about things first but there's a significant difference between "Identifying" with another race/culture/sex and lying about it for professional or political gain, which is what this turd of a person did.
Obviously yes. She has pretty much left a trail of carnage in her web of lies. She's hurt Howard U., the UNCF, the NAACP, local race relations, the police department, her family, and obviously herself.
That is just bizarre. But now we have the "I am what I am" mentality. Next thing, someone will identify themselves as a refrigerator.
If religious fairytales are any indication of what happens in the "afterlife", when we die, we shed these "costumes" and become etheric energy. There is no black, white, yellow, martian, etc., any longer.
If someone wants to claim another culture knowing that they're not genetically a part of it, then what of it?
It's 2015. Why are we STILL classified by racial social constructs by some white NORTHERN european men from 400 years ago anyway?
Nobody cared about such things before then.
