So how much has raised here to care for this child? I assume everyone upthread who has wrung their hands and said this child must be kept alive have established and contributed to a fund to pay the bills that will probably be close to $1M.
If you're new to the thread, the people "upthread" posting, like me, have not said this child has to be kept alive. We do not have all of the information about her. Some of us figure that mom is on Welfare insurance. Tinslee isn't even a year old, mom's pregnant with another kid. We have never even heard from Tinslee's father and if he's still around. It would be nice if he'd make his voice heard too.

If the judge rules that this baby should be taken off measures that sustain her life "because there are currently no treatment options that would improve her condition", I don't think the State of Texas can refuse to assist others in suicide who are wishing to die because "there are currently no treatment options that would improve their condition".
You can't have it both ways. Refuse medical care to sustain the life of a child with serious health issues, and at the same time refuse to help end the lives of adults who are suffering with serious health issues.
It's been 6 weeks. I wonder if there's a health update - has Tinslee gotten better, worse, or remained virtually level in her health situation?
Want to post my google search for Tinslee Lewis to make it easier to check today. Wonder if the judge will wait until the end of the day?

Totally agree. I'm going to be shocked if the judge says disconnect her...

I really hope they give an update because we haven't heard one word since the thread was started. I'd really love to hear what her father thinks and hope he shows himself today
TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – A district court judge in Fort Worth has denied a temporary injunction for the family of an 11-month-old girl seeking to keep her on life support.
Texas Right to Life and Protect TX Fragile Kids, a pair of non-profit groups working with baby Tinslee’s family, say at least two medical centers were reviewing the child’s case to decide whether they can/will take over her care. No word on if any of those facilities have approved or denied accepting Tinslee as a patient.
“Texas Right to Life is disappointed that the ruling not only disregarded the Constitution, but also sentenced an innocent 11-month-old baby to death like a criminal,” the group said in their statement.
A judge is giving a Fort Worth hospital the green light to remove an 11-month-old girl from life support despite her family's protest.
The Thursday morning ruling by the 48th judicial district court says Cook Children's Medical Center will give the family of Tinslee Lewis up to seven days to make a decision on whether to appeal.
The family of Tinslee Lewis, who was born in February with severe medical problems, will appeal the decision, Texas Right to Life said in a press release.
The anti-abortion group also shared a statement from Tinslee’s mother, Trinity Lewis, in the press release.
“I am heartbroken over today’s decision because the judge basically said Tinslee’s life is NOT worth living,” Lewis said. “I feel frustrated because anyone in that courtroom would want more time just like I do if Tinslee were their baby. I hope that we can keep fighting through an appeal to protect Tinslee. She deserves the right to live. Please keep praying for Tinslee and thank you for supporting us during this difficult time.”

Tinslee will be given life-sustaining treatment for at least seven more days at Cook Children's Medical Center as a legal battle continues between the hospital and her family regarding the continuance of care.
The family can file request emergency relief from a state appellate court, according to the judge's order.
Judge decided to stop the machines. Is the family paying for the care?
