Not bad enough to make a change in politics by the voters.
What’s so hard to understand.
Because the majority of those voters aren't effected by it, living in the safe suburbs. And those that it does effect, will vote Democrat regardless of anything.

I agree. And what is so wrong with that?
Is inner city violence your top concern and should it be the biggest issue for the country?

It is a very big concern. It shows we have major societal issues that need to be addressed, not just swept under the rug since it is the "inner city". It effects everyone. While it is about third on my list of major issues, it is much higher than abortion, which is safe here in MI now.

Fair enough. Not enough voters share that opinion.
Even I don’t, and I have worked in very high crime inner city workplaces for decades so it effects me, and my staff and clients, personally. Go figure.

It's probably because the majority of my wife's clients are Detroit PD, so she gets an earful from them. And we see on the news, the $100 of millions spent on places like Detroit to help change things and nothing ever happens, just good money thrown after bad.
Wow, it's so low With the continuing population decline I would hope so. I worked as an Engineer there in the 90s. Everytimr I check with my old Compadres, and ask them if Detroit is getting any better the response is "it is worse than ever". Funny thing is, to Democrats they have always been saying it will get better, and it doesn't. You guys are always right, everytime

I sort of agree with this. And that’s why it’s not an issue for me. It is what is. And, as far as my experience, it doesn’t ever change much.
