Considering that the Russian soldiers are already using their army trucks to haul their looted Ukrainian plunder back to mother Russia, not to mention the full scale obliteration of their country by Russian invaders, I'd call it a wash.
what loots did they haul?

Maybe there should be a War crimes court held on Putin and if found Guilty, a Billion dollars of Russian asets should be put on his head dead or alive. When the free world is confronted with un questionable genocide such as what the world is seeing, you should treat it with the utmost decisive action available. The Geneva convention be damned. This should be a time to make an example of this murderer. Instead the west will play name calling patty cake with this jerk while innocent families are slaughtered and displaced. Puttin must be killed and anyone who follows in his foot steps who would follow his lead. Either we have a safe & more or less free world or we don't. My Ukrainian Father fought the Bolsheviks in a Lt. Wehrmacht uniform and then defected to the UPA (Ukrainian Partisan Army) and fought them in the Carpathians untill the end of WWII hostilities. Americans have No Idea what the Communist system is. Evil is the only label that fits. President Reagan knew this all too well, but it has been lost on the American public as well as western Europe as soon as they could turn a buck on cheap Russian oil.
There's a proposal up for discussion at NATO this week, that the Russian money that's been frozen be used to rebuild Ukraine. From a legal standpoint it's one thing to freeze money, but another to seize it.

Well, my Polish relatives living in the Ukraine fled the UPA at the end of WWII. Lucky, they weren't the Poles killed by the UPA's genocide.

Because I only heard about someone's wife, and she was actually found by Hungarian customs. Care to elaborate what exactly you are talking about?

Interesting, that it had been discussed in advance, but the advice was ignored. Now, with new, even more austere, censorship laws in place as of this week, the same people respond to reporters that they cannot give their opinion without running afoul of the law.
