Dmitriy Medvedev

Five brief comments on the situation in Ukraine

First. Having interrupted the truce, President Petro Poroshenko made a dramatic mistake. This will lead to new victims, but now he will be personally responsible for them.

Second. It will be much more difficult to resume negotiations. Such are the laws of war.

Third. On 27 June, Ukraine signed the Association Agreement with the European Union. This is Ukraine’s right. Russia has the right to switch to new terms of dealing with Ukraine to protect its market. A decision on protective measures will be made after consultations. The Russian Government is analysing the current situation. It is also drafting a plan detailing our actions under the Agreement on CIS Free Trade Area and WTO rules.

Fourth. Ukraine does not pay for gas. Its debt is enormous. It takes gas from underground storage facilities. A full-scale gas crisis will unfold by autumn.

Fifth. There is a huge flow of refugees. Tens of thousands of them. People are fleeing from the war. US propaganda claims that they “go visit their grandmother.” There is no limit to cynicism.

Under the circumstances, it will be very difficult and, on some issues, impossible to develop relations with Ukraine.

There is a lot of killed civilians in Donbass (Kramatorsk, Stanitsa-Luganskaya, Kondrashovka, Semenovka, Seversk, Lisichansk, Nikolaevka) during yesterday 02 July 2014. Ukrainian artillery (mortars, howitzers, Grad and Uragan) and aviation (attackers) is shelling peaceful cities and villages without soldiers of Donbass army in them. It's not an occasional mistake. Ukrainian HQ knows what they are doing. It's truthful terrorism. They want people of Donbass to leave their homes. What the purpose of this terrorism? These people live on Biden's son money - shale gas.

By the way, I think you very accurately have compared the situation in Ukraine with Beslan and Chechnya. Poroshenko - a new Dudayev, who unleashed a civil war and destroy the opposition. Time will pass and the Ukrainian people will overthrow this criminal government. I hope that it does not have to turn Kiev in ruins, as it had to do with the Groznyi.

Although, more likely not personally Poroshenko, but their government. Tyahnibok, Yatseniuk, Yarosh, etc.

Default News on a yesterday's air raid on the village Luganskaya

The Ukrainian mass media write that militants destroyed by bombing the village. Destroyed by bombing itself. From "Grad"
Others write that planes arrived from Russia.

P.S. I immediately thought. Whether Europeans realize, what soon all this rack hungry, embittered, beggars and very silly people a wide step will rush into their prosperous countries?

Default Ukraine has NO future

Banker Igor Kolomoisky launched a large-scale agricultural loans at 40%(!) per annum using the critical situation of public finance planting. It is clear that such interest can not be paid - it just means that harvest crops will be withdrawn on account of debt and go full speed abroad or sold domestically by the huge prices.
