Ukraine will fall not beacause of "separatists". Economical situation is terrible. Ukraine needs about 50 millions $ in this year to just stop fall, EU and other western organizations will give Ukraine 18 millions. It's not enough. It's a catastrophe for Ukraine and a trap for EU, because EU wants Ukraine to be its colony, but doesn't want to pay for that. Ukraine will return to Russia this year.
And there is an important information. Strelkov reports that Ukrainian army uses chemical weapon again.
The chemical weapon could be Fentanyl gas. Russian special forces use sometimes also Fentanyl chemical weapon like in the Moscow theatre hostage incident.

and meanwhile our Western elites , hungry to show off on TV shows, are most concerned about gay rights (in the West or in Russia, not in Islamic Caliphates, mind you...) , the femens, or the last pun of fashion victim Kardashian, or the gesture of uruguayan soccer player Suarez bite in the World Cup....or other miscellanies....and consumerism and Panem et Circenses for the "good folk"

The theme of all this Id say is that there's always a time where somebody somewhere is always thinking about pushing somebody else somewhere around....and trying to pilfer stuff from them. This has been usually the world ever since man appeared.
Sneer, sneer as much as you want,-cynicism is so hip right now- it doesn't change the fact that, historically, societies and civilizations who were "dancing under the volcano" and didn't heed the lessons of History because "they knew better" (what the ancient Greeks called Hubris) all disappeared tragically.
And we are living precisely now in one of these brainless (I would even add decadent and despicable) "civilizations"...

Wonder what kind of guns the Russian rebels carry aside from the usual AK's. Probably not a 9mm Glock. Now, a .44 mag might be the proper equipment in a cricis like this.
All in all it's a crappy situation. A sad chapter in the history of mankind.
There's a very unclear situation. It seems that this bus was in the early convoys fighters. The rebels thought that Ukrainian military unit was ready to surrender, but the Ukrainian military opened fire. In the air and on the road before the bus. The bus drove off to some distance, people went out for a smoke and discuss the situation. At this time, the Ukrainian army shot a flare shell and opened fire on the passengers. Difficult situation, it seems that the rebels were misinformed about the intentions of the military to surrender.
All right, this is what apparently happened; the *separatists* had a lead that Ukrainian military unit in the area was willing to surrender ( which is not an uncommon thing.) Ukrainian army consists of professionals on paid contract and conscripts, who are usually 18-19 yeas old. The "separatists* have a policy of contacting the parents of the young conscripts and engaging them in a process of surrender, (or when the conscripts are captured during the battle, they try to contact parents so they'd pick their sons up and take them home.) They adhere to the same policy for the conscripts from East part of Ukraine, ( who are locals) and West Ukrainians alike.
This is one of the earlier examples of parents being engaged in the process of surrender of the military unit in Lugansk, when the military officer in charge refused to surrender his troops.
( I saw other videos where the "rebels" were sending the stern warning to the parents of the young conscripts to not to send their children to fight the DNR army, since they were going to be killed.)
So this time around the *rebels* had an information, apparently that the military unit in the area was ready to surrender, so they took parents with them and invited journalists to join them on the same bus.
The information proved to be false, so after the Ukrainian army used a flare, they've opened a fire on the bus, although according to one of the journalists who was on that bus, they could clearly see that the bus carried civilians. ( They were actually standing near the bus at that point, if I remember correctly.)
Lugansk. T-34, which was a monument to World War 2, flying like a rocket through the city streets.
