At least it was a military plane, while criminal Poroshenko's government keeps on bombing civilians.
Today the civil hospital has been hit in Slavyansk.

They say the T-34's are 'old'. But there are those who know it'll hunker down everybody even more. What's next? Nebelwerfers, eh? To probably give the 'Nazis' a little nostalgia of revenge?
A mess.

To the tune of When the Saints Go Marchin In...

Oh when the tanks go Marchin in oh when the tanks go Marchin in
Oh Bog I want to be in that number!

The day has started off well!!

I think it's time for our country to distance itself from these combatants and tell them they we don't support them anymore. I don't want a chaotic mess in a neighboring land, and these combatants can make only a mess.

When the rebels in our territory acted violent against our servicemen, we were very angry and were ready to act brutal against them. And the friends of the killed soldiers were angry and wanted revenge.

By giving these rebels moral or any other kind of support, Putin only fuels the hate between the two nations.

Oh I understand following your views (from someone who in his own words "has a comfortable situation in Moscow")the President of Russia should , like Pontius Pilatus, wash his hands of the bloodshed in the Donbass and let his countrymen (yes the Ukraino -Russians of the Donbass are your countrymen Mister ) be slaughtered by Kiev's ragtag. I have an opposite opinion, I hope that he will by any means that will not anger the West too much , which would be conducive to (scandalous) economical sanction against the Russian people , help the population of Novoya Russia. And you should be ashamed as a Russian to have so little empathy with your fellow countrymen on the other side of the Donbass border.

Where in the heck you even come up with that idea? You realize what will happen to Ukraine if the Ukraine gov shot down Putin's plane? Russian troops would be in Kiev within two weeks, it would be bye bye Ukraine as a country. Ukraine gov would also most international support except for the most radical of countries, that being the US and UK.

Putin had nothing to do with shooting down the plane today, that is the separatists. But what did anyone expect? It is a war zone, military things get shot at. (and Kiev thinks civilian things should get shot at as well).

I disagree, I think more support is needed. Kiev has declared war not only on the separatists, but the civilian population as well. Kiev has trouble even getting support from within its own territory and army, and can hardly move on separatists held areas.

Kiev has not approached this like "we are all one country", Kiev's actions has legitimized the separatists even more. Employing people like Lyashko to run around doing his devious deeds is not "trying reconciliation with the people of east Ukraine". If anything, it shows Kiev's true radicalism and attitude towards the people of east Ukraine, and basically anyone who opposes Kiev's view point.

As soon as this settles down (if it does), you will see Kiev trying to consolidate power even more. If people think life sucked before, it is going to get worse. Kiev is going to go on a blitz to ensure there is zero opposition to its policies, it will be more like Russia and Belarus than ever before politically speaking.

What rebels? You mean Chechens? The difference here is that the separatists are not advancing on any territory. Matter of fact, there would be zero violence if not for Kiev's advance on east Ukraine. The separatists are not jihadists, religious fundamentalists, or even ideology driven, they are just declaring their area independent of Kiev after the coup. That is much different than waging an Islamic based war to spread radical Islam throughout the land via terror attacks.

You're absolutely right, Boxus. When I read pieces in the western press about that military plane, and not a word about that little girl dead in the arms of her father. Those 42 "soldiers" (or thugs) are military casualties, and we should cry a river. For me it's "poetic justice".
