Obama' impotent ineffectiveness on Ukraine is about to bury democrats for a decade + to come. It will be the last straw for the middle America that doesn't really care about Ukraine (or anything else), but it cares a lot about the government doing its primary job on the national security. A pansy USA reneging on its commitments to bow to the wishes of a clearly deranged regime, it's something that Americans (indifferent to Ukraine) will not forgive or forget until it's fixed, Americans instinctively sense that there is something seriously wrong with policies of weakness and pacification, and that something sooner or later will endanger their safety and well-being in earnest.

Speaking of 'bridge building he is definitely a loss for the opposition. He appeared to be a locus for all the differing opinions revolving around it and also a powerful one with the requisite integrity to present them to the Russian population. Curious who will be the next one to put himself out on the line.
Mr Nemtsiv I'd say was a very brave and courageous man under the circumstances. His death surely indicates that the culprits knew what they were doing and set it up very well. They and their masters just couldn't countenance his existence in the current tenuous political atmosphere . He just had to be removed. Unfortunate for him and his family as well as for Russia. Oh Goody, Goody, More sanctions, like that means anything. All it does is make the Ukraine new Government think there is a light at the end of the tunnel, when actually its a headlight of an oncoming train. People in the US are sick and tired of waging Wars for two bit Countries that start crap and can't finish it. we are sick enough of Wars we start ourselves, so don't look for much more that the word "sanction" thrown out there like a bone for the dog.
Americans will be going to the Polls in a few months, and the Parties will be most eager to try and avoid unpopular involvement in foreign affairs, especially if it costs tax dollars. we have about a 150 members that are constantly e-mailing and sending letters that ask for the US to stay out of conflicts, and withhold weapons that kill people from self started wars. Multiply that by the Thousands who feel the same way, and the new Government in Ukraine can put up or shut up.
We also have secret weapons that are super effective. Those weapons are Dollars donated to Campaigns of those who also don't want to arm rogue Governments and get into a war with Russia. When the chips are down, the Ukraine has nothing to offer the US that's worth fighting Russia for.

In Ukraine the pension of $53 a month is being cut further. It sounds like Ukraine needs humanitarian aid. Should be campaigning to send Ukrainians some food.

The only people responsible for all the deaths in the Ukraine are the thugs that started the riots to take over the Government by force, and paid Mercenaries to shoot at their own police, to get some Press Coverage. Only problem is, that this is an information age, and you can't hide that stuff anymore. Fact is, there where no killings, or Russian intervention until the thugs took control of Government. Yep, Great new Ukraine Government. No money for the people, but have money to wage a war against the people and finance Mercenaries. Just what I would want to be a part of. We have enough of that here.
