Lobster...again. Right now, here in Maine, it's pretty much cheaper than hot dogs ($2.50/lb). I have been given 3 seperate shopping bags full of lobster in the past week from lobstermen who were too ticked off to sell them at such a low price so they are literally giving them away! Lucky me. I think this batch will do it, though...I might splurge tomorrow and go for the hot dogs.

The eat my toes comment brought back the memory of when we where mopping the old A&P store I worked at when a kid in high school. One night I bumped a jar of pickled pigs feet and of course it fell and busted so the mess was even bigger. To make matters worse I had to buy the busted jar out of a 90¢ per hour check I learned not to mopped so close after that and have since given up with the mop. Prevention is better than cure.

Hooray for Elston - you are truly a star! Richly deserved, sir, richly deserved indeed. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

And by the way, if you are still flexible enough to be able to nibble on your own toes, you deserve not only our congratulations but our awe.... and I wanna see a picture!

Evening all, hubby hogged the computer all day. Tonight for dinner will be kingfish with a dry rub yet to be determined, mashed potatoes, green beans. Hope everyone had a good day.

Hey amber--Sadie thanks you, I thank you and PaPa thanks you! You are the best daughter ever!!
I'm taking the peaches out of the cobbler and serving them with whipped cream. Doing the best I can with a bad situation! The dough just didn't cook throughly. Hopefully the peaches will taste ok with just the whipping cream! The rest of our dinner smells great!
After dinner and clean up I am going to bed! A long day and I really am looking forward to getting a good nights sleep. Thanks all for all the great posts and good feelings!
