It is okay to be in Berea. Do not stay Cedar Lane Road from West Blue Ridge Drive to past the hill for a long period of time. That is crime alley.

I always hated that Cherrydale intersection for some reason.

Park Place, if you are going south of Cherrydale on Poinsett Highway, is toward Greenville.

Berea is out past Cedar Lane Road (SC-183). It becomes Farr's Bridge Road on its way to Pickens. Other major roads include Sulphur Springs Road and West Parker/Hunt's Bridge Roads.

Thomasville and Drexel Heritage next to Homewood Suites at the Point will be closing. The whole chain pretty much went under.

I think it's already gone ... I noticed a few weeks ago that it looked empty and that the landscaping was starting to look a bit shaggy.

Furniture Brands International is in bankruptcy. The stores were closed in mid-September "because they were underperforming and in poor locations" and in hopes that the move would help the company emerge from bankruutcy. Furniture Brands closes six Thomasville, Drexel Heritage stores, including one in Triad - Greensboro - The Business Journal

I don't think Woodruff road can be considered a bad location. If they can't make it there, they can't make it anywhere. Why would they locate in a bad location to start with ....it seems like it is pretty easy to determine a good location for your business.
