Fifth Third took over my bank in Chicago which was convenient when I traveled to West Virginia in 2002 before moving here in 2003. If they were closer to Mauldin I would probably switch back to get away from BOA.

First time I saw a Fifth Third was in Lexington Kentucky (logo on their tallest building). Think they are based in Cincinnati.

I was with First Union back in the day, then they became Wachovia, then Wells Fargo, and that's the point where they lost me. I moved everything to USAA. Perfectly happy with them.
The only downside is that if I wind up having cash that I need to deposit, I basically have to go get a postal money order (Doesn't HAVE to be a postal one, but, they're generally the cheapest) and turn the cash into an MO to deposit. But, that's a rare situation.

Same with Bank of America. Bankers Trust of SC acquired by NCNB (North Carolina National Bank) and merged with C&S (Citizens & Southern) to become Nationsbank then changed their name to Bank of America.
I like First Citizens but they too are growing past their South Carolina roots after they were acquired by First Citizens of North Carolina (Raleigh) around 7 years ago.

Don't feel bad.. I'm on it every day and I can't think of where it is. Not usually at the Publix end, but.. I haven't ever noticed a Founders
Someone give some more landmarks?
Founders is a credit union. It’s going across Grandview Drive from 7 Eleven on the same side of Harrison Bridge Road as the gas station. You can see the site plan here for the Culver’s and another planned development next door: https://images1.loopnet.com/d2/0BXHp...illeHB1min.pdf
