For some inexplicable reason, they're hosting "preview" tours for HC people who "will be contacted soon" to view the building and model units. We can't think of a practical reason for these as 1) seeing this spectacular building is unlikely to get anyone to drop out of the process if they weren't already planning to, perhaps the reverse, and 2) once people are contacted, they'll still want to come view the actual units they are able to choose from having only seen random model units. But for some reason MAHNY and/or Brodsky are doing these.
I said I wouldn’t get my hopes up on this lotto until I moved in, and today is the day! I’m here and unpacking! Move in was smooth and the staff is so helpful. The process is long and frustrating at times, but keep at it!

I’m glad many more people are getting to move in and that so far you’re liking it once you’re there. I finally get to go sign my TIC tomorrow and they requested more information again on July 29th, most of which I’ve submitted already, except for the notarized self-employment income thing and a notarized letter about a transfer into my bank account. They will notarize these things when I go in to sign the TIC tomorrow. Somehow I missed that I’d have to bring a $20 money order for the background check, so I’ll have to go to the post office or bank tomorrow for that before I go in to sign the TIC. Keep that in mind if you’re invited to go send the TIC. They have been very nice and I hope this is one of the last batches of info they’ll request. Since it’s now August, I’m confident that they request bank statements for July and likely other things from me. I debated just including those, but for some inexplicable reason, I did not.
People who have moved in already, what do you like (from viewing the apartment in June, the brochure, and the website, I suspect I’ll like everything). Is there anything you don’t like (I get that the pool and the floor with offices aren’t open yet, but is there anything else you don’t like)?
