No one is saying overpopulation a good thing. Sounds like a logical fallacy to me.
Besides, birth rates in the US are below replacement level anyway, and the White American population is on the decline.
Birth rates are falling because this country is declining. Would you want a kid witn the possibility of this country falling into third world status in the near future?
The United States is FULL and many citizens have no work. So STAY HOME.
We have no need for more immigrants, legal or illegal.
X2! Look at Detroit, teachers, cops, and fireman after fulfilling their end of the deal. They are now getting shortchanged on their pensions. What about all the problems SS is facing? What about not having enough cash to help the returning veterans? Take care of our own!!! BTW America is the most charitable nation in the world.

I'm confused. I thought you would want birth rates to fall, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Nonetheless, it's not always the economy that causes birth rate declines. White Americans and Europeans have been below replacement since the 70s. Birth rates are falling across the globe, whether economies are improving or not.
THIS is what I tell people all the time. I'm Hispanic/Arabic, born and raised in this country. Even I have to admit that these illegals (mainly from Mexico and Central America) are treated like royalty over here compared to their country of origins. I have friends who are so ridiculous and PC about this and it kills me. They always sympathize with the illegals since many of them are latino themselves. Yet, I bet you every penny if an American goes over to Mexico, Central America, India, Pakistan, Middle East, lets see how us U.S. citizens will be treated.
I don't care what anyone says about this country, it isn't perfect and has done many wrongs but it has also done many rights and in the end I MUCH rather be over here than over in Mexico getting mutilated by drug cartels. It kills me how some of these illegals take what they're getting for granted and how some of them feel entitled to it. Sickens me.
I have traveled to many of the mentioned areas on a regular basis and have not been treated any better or worse on average than in the US.

Question for you. I see that the general consensus is that these immigrants are TYPICALLY noble and hard working. If this is the case for the AVERAGE immigrant, then why are they attempting to flee from the squalor that THEIR people created? If they are all on AVERAGE so hard working and ingenious, then how come their own countries don't reflect this? After all, if a typical population is so hard working and industrious and ambitious, their county should behold a higher civilization and perhaps some of us would be seeking them for a new way.

You can fit the entire world's population inside a land area approximately the size of Texas at NYC's (city proper) average density per sq mile.
So no, there is more than plenty of room. In fact suburban sprawl is a major environmental problem and virtually every city in America could benefit from more people. Most of the United States very underpopulated.

Birth rates are falling because of family planning. It doesn't make economic sense to have numerous children in today's world. Thank birth control and abortions.
BTW, increased birth rates do not equate third world status.

Immigrants do tend to be a disproportionately young population and can indeed help alleviate problems of an aging population. Although skilled immigrants would be preferable.

I swear everytime I see a hispanic woman in her late 20s or early 30s there are 4 or 5 kids trailing right behind. As she pushes a troller and looks Pregnant lol

i mean other than gathering info on the illegals and using it to track them? lots of fill in this paper blah blah blah but sandwiched in the middle is @ the the DMV, a retina scan or a thumb live scan, mission accomplished. you can stop asking them who they are when you stop them, you just tell them who they are. as to the id card, just put a chip in it and viola you no longer need detention centers.

100% correct. More taxes!!! That's what's crushing NYS and NYC. Could you imagine what other country would allow this???? You have a portion in the Democrat party that wants zero borders. We also have republicans who want unskilled latino's to drive down wages in unskilled work. Take care of Americans before illegals.

Look, I'm not a fans of the republicans either, but doesn't anyone see what the Democrats do?
They cater to to those on govt. assistance (whites and non-whites) immigrants and other minorities, and they try to at least get a decent percentage of the Liberal white vote. Now, they want so badly to get illegal aliens to be able to vote. They are going to win a lot of govenrment positions in the future. Because people have realized they can vote themselves money and citizenship.
Now, as the demographic in the USA is changing, to a more hispanic/foreign citizens, you can expect them to be the ibe the dominant party soon.
I'm telling you, I really think the republicans days are numbered. Again, I am NO fan of either party Just my opinion from my observation.
The only reason I care, is because it seems like those who move to this country don't really seem to hold old traditional American values. And thats really sad to me.
