I moved from an emissions county to an non emissions county,Can the non emissions county still inspect my car?
Inspections are done by place of residence (assuming the car is registered and you pay taxes in the County where you live), so yes, if you live in a non-emissions testing county, thats where you would have your inspection done.
are there any surrounding counties to Mecklenburg that do NOT do vehicle inspection i have a 97 chevy pickup with no muffler my cats are still there though and do not have access to the oem muffler if not is there any after market that i could use that would keep the dual pipe the only other issue i have is my distributor throws a code of miss fire please give me some insight
Every NC county surrounding Mecklenburg requires emission testing for inspection. But it doesn't matter anyway. If you vehicle requires emission testing, it has to pass an emissions test, regardless of where you take it to get inspected.
will a lack of muffler cause it to fail?
it is a little on the louder side though
