Oh, so...were Africans NOT willing partners in the slave trade? Answer honestly now. Keep in mind, a training wheels hint for you...its historically established that Africans captured other Africans and sold them to whites at the coast.

Tell you what, since you are so stupid as to make the statement that Africans STARTED the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and then being the intellectually challenged player in this game you now want to connect being "partners" in the slave trade as the same as "Starting" the slave trade, I have no more time for you.
What exactly am I hanging onto? I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy. I have no dog in this fight. Obama can identify that way he wants...why is that so hard to understand?
The idea that one drop of black blood makes you black...an idea put forward by Racists and yet it seems to be embraced by modern day black people.
Some whites started out by calling blacks n!ggers to degrade and demoralize..Now, some blacks today use it as a form of camaraderie (though I don't agree with it) and some whites yell "Wait.....we started that...now you guys are using it...we want it back!"
Whites started the "one drop rule"...Now some blacks today are saying "I accept that...If my Dad/Mom is black, I'm black!". Now some whites are yelling "Wait, you're turning this positive.....we want to strike the whole one drop rule thing from the record!".
Some folks can't stand when others turn their negative bigotry into a positive form of empowerment.
If the rules change, then I need to refill out all of my forms/surveys/applications, etc. Didn't realize I should've been checking multi-racial all this time. If Blacks whose ancestors were slaves in the US did this, the multi-racial population in the US would be through the roof! I wonder why there's no outcry about the MILLIONS of blacks who are inaccurately labeling themselves black, when they are in fact multi-racial? And why don't so many whites do the same?
Without Africans,there would have been no slave trade really....
Just think,90% of the slaves were enslaved by other black Africans,terrible isn't it?
Lets make this clear, Africans DID enslave other blacks (which some whites love to bring up) in Africa as well as many other countries. Many other groups enslaved conquered tribes. This is a well known fact. NOW, the American slave trade has been the most devasting form of slavery that the world has ever known and has had the most lasting affect on a group of people in history. Why? Not only that more Africans lost their lives on the passage to the new world than jews in the holocaust (estimates are well over 10 million) they were not considered even human as written in many laws. The dehumanization of the women through rape, and the men by castration, amputation and organized lynching was commonplace. This has been followed up by substandard housing, employment, education and an over representation in the penal system.
Ok, back to the original rant. Slavery in the past has been that the conquering tribe would take the women and children and assimulate them into their own. The Africans, that sold their enemies to the whites never imagined the cruelties that their captives would endure, nor did they know that it would last for centuries.
