I know we have covered this many times.

And why is that? Are you suggesting that Democrats would blame the cop?

Nothing it never existed except in the minds of ignorant anti gun nuts who have no idea what they're talking about. No one is or has ever been taught to "shoot to injure", that's idiotic - you don't use deadly force to injure. You shoot to stop a threat, sometimes the threat dies, but the vast majority of people who get shot survive.

What would people say if we disband all police and let citizens act this way?
I would have shot a lot of people in my life if I pulled out my gun every time I thought was in danger or thought someone was holding a weapon.

There was a kid aiming a stick at me one day that I thought was a gun at first, would I as a civilian be justified in shooting him?

Blacks don't vote Republican because an adolescent who pulled a gun on cops got shot?
that makes no sense

Whassup with that? Requiring kiddies to have suitable car seating by federal mandate but letting idiots manufacture a look-alike BB gun in the time honoured tradition of simply seeking profits.?

Hasn't anyone figured out having kids walking around with these darn things out in the open in today's America is just asking for someone to get blown away?

Where's the mental gymnastics come from that would identify an AR-15 as a deadly "assault" weapon that should be restricted from adult possession but leave the stupid toys that look exactly like their deadly counterparts immune from restriction?

I'm not seeing the logic in any of these stupid decisions.

A toy designed specifically to copy a real firearm should be protested off the shelves; where's the public outrage?

Really?

Obviously, you didn't bother to read the article. BB guns, do have a purpose and it's not using them to threaten your robbery victims and then, a cop.

It doesn't matter what it looks like if it's not being used as a firearm.

Why no one blame the boy's crappy parents? School year just started, should he be home doing homeworks at 7:30pm instead of making troubles in the neighborhood?

I hope this doesn't turn into a race issue.

The real issue here is "shoot first, ask question later", common practice for the police

There is no proof he was making trouble.
