Nowhere in the article does anyone state people shouting racial slurs toward the singer. Oh right, You "imagine" that it happened
Just like you "imagined" in your OP that he was afraid of fans. If you feel that's the case, you should be directing your disdain to THOSE fans. You people are totally misguided, per usual.
This is what I love about social media. From the president on down, it gives the idiots a platform from which to out themselves. And they do it in such a way that it will follow them for the rest of their lives. It's actually a very useful tool in that regard.
So lets bring back segregation if the blacks don't want to be part of society. They can have their areas and we can have ours. Then lets see what areas turn out the better place to live.
Typical... we want equal treatment by law enforcement and you equate that to segregation.
Does it really matter if he resigned or was fired? People in this position generally resign to keep from being fired. A volunteer fire chief is still quite an honor and yes you can be fired from it.
What's your position on what he said?
Why should I dignify a thread begun as a lie with an opinion? So yeah, the lie matters.
Obviously you're trying to pick a fight with me and I try not to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
You guys are trying to make this into a "job loss" situation it isn't. There's no union involved, no loss of benefits, he'll still get a small pension if Cecil Township participates in that program when he turns 62. The guy will continue to respond to incidents, if he has a seat on the department's board of directors he'll remain in that. If he's a training officer he'll continue in that. In three or four years he'll be Chief again.

is this guy your uncle?
You sound upset this guy is losing his gig over using a slur.
The NFL has had numerous domestic abuse issues involving wife/girlfriend beaters, a dog killer, multiple DUIs, players with illegal firearms, and players involved with killings
Correct. We believed these thugs deserved a chance to redeem themselves through sports. But instead, they feel qualified to lecture us on social justice and ethics.
No sale. We're done. They can go play in empty stadiums for all we care. Then, when the league goes out of business, they can go back to,their true professions: muggings, drug dealing, and domestic abuse.
