That argument is meaningless and continued emotional hyperbole won't give it any traction. You live in a country bound by the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. You have a choice to live in this country or leave. Your rights do not extend to controlling what others do because of your religious or other beliefs. Those rights existed long before you were here.

Sweet Jesus.
And can't do, too.

You'll note I haven't actually stated my own views on abortion in this thread.

What's your point? People believe different things and don't agree with each other. News @ 11.

The Constitution AND Bill of Rights with their amendments are the rule of law.

Actually no you're wrong. We only want to be able to run OUR OWN AFFAIRS. Overturning Roe vs Wade will not stop New York and California from allowing abortion in their own states. We simply don't want abortion here.

Things like abortion and gay marriage should be decided on the state level, just like states should have the right not to implement Obamacare.

You can "run your own affairs" to your heart's content, but your state will not be able to impose your beliefs and laws onto individuals who have the right to control their own bodies, with their own doctors. "Your own affairs" will not alter the rights given under the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

But do feel free to start your own country somewhere outside the U.S. You can make up your own laws but the U.S. Constitution in this country is the law affecting all states within it.

Sometimes I do think we would both be happier if you people had just let us leave in 1861.

You nor state legislatures have the right to deny women their right to privacy in medical decisions.
