I'm not stressed, that's a "whomever smelt it dealt it" style defense, this isn't third grade anymore. But honestly, people who are xenophobic and prejudiced make me uneasy, this isn't the 19th century anymore. We're all people
People have differences and are allowed to pick and choose their friends. Many people choose to be around those like themselves, their own families, their own culture. Nothing is wrong with that. Should have been taught that much in third grade, but it probably came naturally.

What of those of us who have friends and relationships with those of different ethnicities? Are we wrong to you?

Something is wrong with assuming it. People who like being around their own are not against you and yours. They should have the same rights to not have relationships with those as other ethnicities as you. Criticizing a town for being 93% white is the wrong approach.
I agree with this. Skin color or race is of no concern to me but I wouldn't want to see the individual races disappear either because of too much intermixing. Culture diversity never really works in a society when the identifying one is challenged or diluted by competing cultures.
The U.S. is quickly becoming a 3rd world country with its lack of immigration law enforcement. Ca. which was once a great state has 1/3 of the nation’s welfare recipients. If diversity is beneficial isn’t more better? Why don’t we push for 1 billion immigrants, legal or illegal from South America, Africa, Asia and elsewhere.
I do believe if whites had never settled here things would be a little different.
Ha! You ask for proof that diversity has benefitted any country. When I bring that to you, your only reply is "well... CA has a lot of poor people."
Why don't you racists just go back to your holes? You're living a delusion that no one but you wants to see in real life.
People of your ethnic background are essentially your extended, distant family. If you look at places with stong ethnic cohesion like Norway or Japan they have FAR greater public trust numbers than the US or Brazil. This is why I fear that the US is headed towards balkanization, where the entire country is segregated based on race/ethnicity similar to NYC. Ironically this is counter productive to any sort of collectivism that the left wants. These communities aren’t going to want to share or work with each other, they’re always going to be blaming each other for the countries problems.
Is it racist to prefer to live amongst people similar to you rather than people that are not like you? Sounds like that's what you're saying.....?
To "prefer to live among people like yourself", no that's just prejudice; but when you have the power to deny people who are not like you from living where they choose, that's racism. Prejudice + Power =Racism
