Yep, and the entire World is in on it. Entire countries are closing down, entire industries are being destroyed. The leaders in those countries and the industry leaders are in cahoots with the liberals. Businesses are closing globally. The owners of those millions of businesses Worldwide are all out to get trump. It's remarkable really how everyone has come together across the globe for the sole purpose of hurting trump. He's so important that the ENTIRE World is willing to destroy their countries, businesses, life's work, savings, families, etc..., just to get him. And it's all because he's a stable genius who has done more than any other president in history. It's just crazy!

But we still get to keep our 20% unemployment, great depression and 401Ks that are worth half what they were a year ago, etc?
People are NOT following the social distancing rules while out in public...Ive seen it firsthand the past 3 days in a row, its shocking!

The idea is to keep as many people out of circulation as possible. Food is essential, so stores stay open, truckers keep driving, food companies keep producing and farmers keep planting. Same with pharmacies, medical equipment manufacturers, utility workers and others.

Going to nightclubs, sports arenas, restaurants and other crowded places just gives the virus more opportunity to spread, so those are shut down.

NO.

Everything was honky dory until Trump decided to IGNORE his intel briefings from January and February warning him of the coming pandemic. TRUMP blew it off. He could have prepared ahead of time and guided the American people through the process and people would have been appreciative and calm.

Instead, TRUMP lied (“We have it under control”, “We’re going to be fine”, “It’ll go away in April”) and that’s when people panicked: after they figured out TRUMP was full of crap.

As usual, let’s blame everyone else, (especially the media) for TRUMP’s arrogance, stupidity and general sorriness.

So what good does it do to shut the economy down and bring on the great depression?

Actually, the Chinese communist government lied about it. They probably even told Trump is was no big deal and he had nothing to worry about because they would handle it. I doubt Trump was getting accurate intel about the virus, especially with the Chicoms going to great lengths to hide the facts. Trump put the interests of the economy over the low perceived risk of the virus spreading. No doubt about it.

The economy is his thing, and what he has consistently derived the most pride from during the presidency. That's actually what people voted for. Most people depend on the economy for their wealth, well being, standard of living, etc so they want and demand a president who will work hard to sustain and grow the economy.

What we know today is, no matter what Trump would have done, Americans would eventually be exposed to the virus and it would take off on our side of the globe. We live in a global economy, and the disease is highly contagious. You can slow the spread, but you can't stop it, and eventually, the hospitals will be overwhelmed.

It's truly scary that someone like you is in the health care field. I wonder, does your hate cause you to give patients different levels of care based on what you think their political beliefs are?

3. Consider this: you get sick. It doesn’t have to be COVID-19. It could be an accident, a heart attack, exacerbation of COPD, a stroke, a GI bleed, etc. The medics take to the ER and you’re met by a couple of nurses and an ER tech who have been using the same mask and gown all day because they don’t have enough. So, now, you’re being looked after by people who could be contaminated with COVID-19. So, they’re doing their job without drama but covered in COVID-19 with which they will contaminate YOU.

But, you’re a patriot, right? So, you’re willing to take one for the team and DIE so the economy and the stock market remain high.

Did I tell you you’re a genius? Oh yes you are!

So what you are saying is I could get sick or have an accident? I'll one up you... Someday we are all going to die. Get over yourself. It's selfish to demand the whole world and economy stop on a dime for a disease that kills perhaps 1% who get it. The resulting civil unrest, famines, supply chain shocks, etc would most likely kill far more people as a result, in the long run.

Short term consequences vs long term consequences. Or have you never considered the difference before?

What is a real American? I've lived here fifty years and never met one. Do they have some identifying mark? Maybe you mean the indigenous population?

The Nurse has it right. She tells the truth. And she has a greater chance of dying than you do, because she is on the front line with a growing shortage of protective gear.

Trump said what he said. We heard him on live TV. Get your head out of the sand and wake up!

what they have closed and decided to allow to stay open is not enough to prevent the spread. Many of the places that are open, their customers are actively spreading the virus as we speak!

I have seen this behavior in EVERY SINGLE store Ive been to the last 3-4 days! There are long lines for the cashier and people are standing right next to one another! I saw one lady today, she was sneezing left and right, coughing, she was right there standing in line to get lottery and cigarettes, no one around her was showing any concern at all, they were acting like the virus doesnt even exist! Its really amazing, these people are not willing to give up their 'luxuries' and they are endangering everyone!
