Do you have a credible source quoting WHO? CNN is about like quoting National Enquirer, but less entertaining.

Mask below the nose is unlikely to expose anyone to more risk. Most of the risk comes from people talking (and spewing air particles). The nose is not a problem unless the person is sneezing.

I haven't been to Boston. But, I have been to NYC and San Francisco, and walked around maskless outdoors. Often, the only one. No one shamed me. Sometimes I walked into stores accidentally without one, and they'd gently remind me to put one on. That was it.

They breathe through their mask. And the virus goes in and out without problems if it's already airborne. It's before it's airborne where masks work. Not after.

Is there any CDC approved masks that are made in the USA? All the disposable masks, etc. I'm seeing are made in China. Pretty interesting that China "supposedly" let the virus out and, now, all the masks being sold are "made in China". I'm serious about this and I really don't want a "homemade" mask from a crafter. Those are not made to CDC standards.

Masks most people are wearing don't protect the wearer.

Here's a small sampling of peer-reviewed studies showing masks work:

Masks aren't a panacea, but they definitely do work.

Surgical, N95 and cloth masks offer protection.

No, they don't. Numerous randomized controlled trials prove it, yet the Mayo Clinic insists on perpetrating the myth that they somehow offer significant protection against a virus less than 3 microns in diameter.

But keep believing that wearing a dirty cloth bandana means you are "saving lives." I hope you wear a mask for the rest of your life if it makes you as happy as it appears.
