As for wearing a mask, people don't realize that a Covid 19 virus is .006 nano microns in size and the vaunted 3M medical N95 only filters down to .3 microns. The popular cloth masks are lucky to block the passage of pollen and dust. They become damp from exhaled air which will restrict the passage of incoming air so is drawn in from around the loosely fitted perimeter, resulting in the wearer breathing in whatever is floating about in the air.
If masks are useless, then why did a study in Oklahoma show that in cities that have required mask ordinances that it worked to slow the spread of covid?

Interesting but pretty useless without a study or numbers. Its just one guy giving his interpretation of a study not shown in the article. What you quoted is all that is in there about the study.

In early March, county health agents across the US cited the findings by the CDC that Covid 19 had mutated into a mild form of the flu so the general population only had to follow the usual flu season precautions. They also didn't recommend wearing a mask since that would hinder the general publics' ability to develop a herd immunity to it and other viruses that were present. That made sense since we never had to wear a mask before, especially during the 2017-18 flu season when 34 million Americans caught a flu with 21 million seeking medical and the CDC confirming 60,000 deaths from those. There wasn't any testing because one either got it or didn't. That season people of all ages fell victim to the flu yet now we're supposed be fearful of a virus that doesn't affect children 19 and under plus has a survival rate over 99% for those age 20 to 84 and 94.5% for those 85 and older. Children have a survival rate of 99.997% with 99% of their positive tests showing that they're asymptomatic or had developed an immunity to Covid 19.
The case and death count is totally bogus and have been skewed to justify business restrictions and stay at home orders. County health agents have been raising Hell about both since they got to see the test results and death certificates to examine for accuracy. They were unhappy with retests done on recovering individuals being counted as new cases and for Covid 19 being listed as the cause of death when the individual passed away due to chronic or terminal illnesses, organ failure while waiting for a transplant or in their sleep from old age. They also were unhappy seeing asymptomatic cases being forced to quarantine themselves at home for two weeks even though they posed no threat and were needed to help others to develop an immunity to it by getting out in public. Another bone of contention they have is how late test results are being counted as new cases, even though many are months late with the individuals fully recovered by then yet are forced to quarantine at home anyways.
Now they're raising Cain about the new fast tests because those fail to show if the person has recovered, is asymptomatic or clinically ill. That also made the general public leery of being tested when not feeling ill because the skewed test results has resulted in them being forced to stay home from work. The reduction in testing resulted in fewer new cases being reported so many regional covid directors have resorted to using past weekly averages of new cases and deaths by assuming there should be more if more people were being tested.

Nevertheless, Gates isn't opposed to masks and encourages people to wear them, rather than try to make a political issue out of it.
that is hypocrisy. he has no medical training and encourages medical advice and tells us when we can go back to normal. we can go back to normal now we have guns. but that is not even necessary we need civil disobedience for this take over . we can do away with all these regulations and pretend like it does not exist because that is what we do during flu season. they are trying to install the great reset and they said it themselves.

In the end, there was no statistically significant difference between those who wore masks and those who did not when it came to being infected by Covid-19. 1.8 per cent of those wearing masks caught Covid, compared to 2.1 per cent of the control group. As a result, it seems that any effect masks have on preventing the spread of the disease in the community is small.
Some people, of course, did not wear their masks properly. Only 46 per cent of those wearing masks in the trial said they had completely adhered to the rules. But even if you only look at people who wore masks ‘exactly as instructed’, this did not make any difference to the results: 2 per cent of this group were also infected.
When it comes to masks, it appears there is still little good evidence they prevent the spread of airborne diseases. The results of the Danmask-19 trial mirror other reviews into influenza-like illnesses. Nine other trials looking at the efficacy of masks (two looking at healthcare workers and seven at community transmission) have found that masks make little or no difference to whether you get influenza or not.
